We increase awareness of how your dog learns to improve the relationship between you and your dog, show you how a trained dog can enrich your life and help save dog’s lives through training and behavior modification.
Connie and her staff are passionate about understanding how dogs learn in order to improve the relationship between owners and their dogs.
Connie Cleveland was born in Lansing, Michigan and received her B.S. in Engineering from Michigan State University. She spent 10 years as the Training Director for Dogs for the Disabled before opening the Dog Trainers Workshop.
Currently, Connie teaches obedience to over 120 students each week. Additionally she offers private lessons, and conducts weekend training seminars across the country and internationally. Connie has earned two Field Championships, four Amateur Field Championships, nine Obedience Trial Championships, a UDT on a Maltese and a CDX on a Shih-tzu.
She shares her home with two Golden Retrievers, two Labrador Retrievers, and a Shih-tzu, the most well-known being her Golden, Amateur Field Champion and Obedience Trial Champion Topbrass Caleb UDX OM2.
